Fatima is President of the soroptimists in Croydon and I had the pleasure of working with her during my deputy year.

We discussed the Sheroes campaign she was launching which encouraged people to nominate women who had been particularly amazing during the pandemic and we also discussed the spoken word competition which they ran every year.

The mayor is always invited to submit one of the questions which the young people can talk about. We discussed some thoughts which I had for this.
